This Brightfield / Darkfield inverted metallurgical microscope includes the following:
- Microscope Body: Trinocular inverted microscope with color corrected infinity optical system. Eyetubes are inclined 45°. Trinocular port distributes light 100% or 20/80 to camera. Head swivels 360°.
- Objective Lenses: Microscope is set up for brightfield & darkfield and includes the following LM Plan brightfield/darkfield objectives - 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x. Optional 100x BD objective is available below. Quintuple nosepiece is side-facing.
- Eyepieces: N-WF 10x / 20mm with diopter adjustment. Interpupillary distance adjustment from 48mm-75mm.
- Total Magnification: 50x, 100x, 200x, 500x.
- Specimen Stage: Mechanical stage is 280mm x 180mm working surface with 50mm x 50mm movement. Includes metal stage insert.
- Polarization: Inverted microscope DOES NOT include polarizer & analyzer. Slots are provided, but polarizer and analyzer are purchased separately and are available below.
- Focusing: Coaxial low positioned coarse and fine focus controls, graduated to 2 microns per division. Controls are fitted with tension adjustment and safety auto stop. The focus range is 35mm. The movement runs in extra wide precision ball-bearing hardened steel tracks.
- Illumination: A powerful Koehler method vertical illuminator with 12v/100x halogen. External lamp house with intensity control.
