The Motic BA310E Elite Biological microscope is designed for clinical, university or institutional uses. This system includes an 11.6" screen attached to an 8 megapixel digital camera for easy image capture. The system has the following specifications:
- Objective Lenses: Inward facing quintuple objective turret revolving nosepiece holds CCIS EC Plan Achromat objectives 4x, 10x, 40xs, 100xs oil immersion with the following specifications:
- EC Plan Achromat 4x/0.1, WD = 15.9mm
- EC Plan Achromat 10x/0.25, WD = 17.4mm
- EC Plan Achromat 40x/0.65/S, WD = 0.5mm
- EC Plan Achromat 100x/1.25/S-Oil, WD = 0.15mm
- Eyepieces: Siedentopf high eyepoint widefield 10x eyepieces,
20mm FOV. Accepts 25mm diameter reticle. (WF15x eyepieces are also available). Independent diopter
adjustments (± 5 diopters) are on each eyepiece.
- Viewing head: 30° inclined trinocular tubes with
interpupillary distance adjustments from 48 mm to 75 mm. Trinocular light split is 100:0/20:80 or 100:0/0:100.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Has rackless, rectangular mechanical stage,
180mm x 170mm with a travel range of 80mm x 55mm. Low positioned coaxial control knobs make it easy to control stage movement. The stage is protected with a special hard coating to protect against abrasion and fungus growth.
- Stand: T-shaped base and pyramid-designed frame provide superb stability and mechanical design to achieve ergonomic and fatigue-free operation as well as saving vital desk space in modern laboratories.
- Focusing: Fine and coarse coaxial focusing. The combination of a triangular steel rail with an adjustable torque control knob provides for easy control of the coarse focusing tension and total vertical movement of 20mm at 2 µm.
- Condenser: Has focusable and centerable Abbe N.A. 0.90/ 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and a slot for contrast sliders. The condenser is attached to the microscope using a dovetail mount and can be adjusted through a rack and pinion mechanism ensuring a durable and smooth range of adjustments.
- Illumination: 3W LED (6000K) with intensity control provides Koehler illumination. 100~240V.
- Anti-Fungus Treatment: All critical parts of the microscope such as the eyepieces, objectives and observation tube are anti-fungus treated to ensure image clarity and optical performance.
- Camera: 8 megapixel camera has 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and HDMI (4K) resolution of 30 frames per second (fps) @ 3840 x 2160. Camera is connected through HDMI to the HD screen and through USB to a mouse. Images can be captured in JPEG/TIFF format with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) to a SD card.
- Software: Includes Motic Images Plus 3.1 for Windows/ MacOS. On-board software has the following features:
- Standard tools: still image capture, live image record, zoom in & out, magnifier, ROI, mirror, rotation, split, freeze, cross line, gallery
- Image adjustments: auto/manual exposure mode, gain, target brightness setting, light frequency, auto/manual white balance mode
- Advanced settings: saturation, contrast, gamma, sharpness, denoise
- Monitor: LCD 11.6" full HD screen, 1920 x 1080
