The Motic Panthera E2 digital microscope includes a digital camera and monitor for easy image display.
Objective Lenses: Color Corrected Infinity Optical System. Plan UC Achromat objectives 4x, 10x, 40xs, and 100xs oil objectives are included. Objectives are Pb free and mounted on reversed quadruple nosepiece.
Eyepieces: Interpupillary distance is adjustable from 48-75mm. Dual diopters of +/-5. UC-WF10x/20 eyepieces. Accepts 25mm diameter eyepiece reticle.
Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x
Specimen Stage: Compact and rackless mechanical stage 140mm x 135mm with X-Y travel range of 75mm x 40mm. Upper limit stop is present and adjustable.
Stand: Effective ergonomics and maximum expandability are built into this stand. The wide arm provides strength and rigidity. Additionally, the inverted "Y" support in the back of the microscope provides extra lateral stability. Built-in USB 2.0 connectivity for external camera power or battery pack.
Focusing: Fine and coarse coaxial focusing with tension adjustment. Minimum fine focus precision 2µm. Z-Axis movement of 25mm.
Condenser: NA 0.90 / 1.25 Abbe Condenser with slider slot.

Camera: 8 megapixel camera has 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and HDMI (4K) resolution of 30 frames per second (fps) @ 3840 x 2160. Camera is connected through HDMI to the HD screen and through USB to a mouse. Images can be captured in JPEG/TIFF format with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) to a SD card.
Software: Includes Motic Images Plus 3.1 for Windows/ MacOS. On-board software has the following features:
