The Motic PX43 MET is a professional Metallurgical inverted microscope designed for inspecting polished sample cross sections as well as larger, bulkier materials samples. This microscope is a good fit for use in the automotive, machinery, metal fabrication, and similar industries. The PX43 MET microscope includes the following:
- Microscope Body: Trinocular inverted microscope with color corrected infinity optical system. Eyetubes are inclined 45°. Trinocular port distributes light 20/80 to camera, or 100% to eyepieces. Head swivels 360°.
- Objective Lenses: Microscope is set up for brightfield and darkfield includes the following Plan Semi-Apochromatic Brightfield and Darkfield (Plan S-APO BD) objectives - 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x. The Quintuple nosepiece is inclined.
- Plan S-APO BD 5x/ 0.15, WD = 18 mm
- Plan S-APO BD 10x/ 0.30, WD = 11.9 mm
- Plan S-APO BD 20x/0.50, WD = 2.9
- L Plan S-APO BD 50x/ 0.55, WD = 8.1
- Eyepieces: UC-WF 10x /FN 22 with diopter adjustment. Interpupillary distance adjustment from 48mm-75mm. Accepts 25 mm diameter eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 50x, 100x, 200x, 500x.
- Specimen Stage: Mechanical stage is 320mm x 194mm working surface with 50mm x 50mm movement. The hard coated surface is any-corrosive and wear resistant.
- Polarization: This inverted microscope supports brightfield, darkfield, and polarized light observation but DOES NOT include a polarizer or analyzer. Slots are provided, but the polarizer and analyzer are purchased separately and are available for purchase separately.
- Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focus controls, graduated to 2 microns per division.
- Illumination: 12v/100w halogen illuminator. External lamp house with intensity control.
- Includes: Blue filter, vinyl dust cover, power cord, and universal power supply 100-240V.
