ProLux LED Ring Light

The ProLux LED fiber optic illuminator provides high output LEDs with bright light intensity, superior color rendition, long LED life, low energy consumption and reduced ownership costs. The ProLux LED provides a more consistent color temperature than traditional halogen fiber optic illuminators. On board thermal sensors protect and shut down the ProLux should a fan intake become blocked. Maintenance free LEDs have a minimum lifetime of 25,000 hours.

• Polarizer: Optional polarizer / analyzer improves contrast by reducing glare. The polarizer/analyzer kit consists of two polarizers: a fixed analyzer mounted in the central portion of the ring light and a rotatable polarizer mounted on the bottom portion of the ring light. Rotation and positioning of the bottom polarizer in relation to the fixed analyzer is useful in reducing glare and hot spots, enhancing contrast and performing stress evaluations.
